Free Activity - Make a Paper Fan

Every week we have a simple, free activity to get the kids creating. This weeks activity is Make a Paper Fan. You can come in at anytime by yourself or with some friends and get going at one of our tables. Here is a photo of our first fan made this morning in our Remuera Store, too cool! The free activity is available at all three stores.

Seedling Store Workshops Today

We had some wonderful creations today at the workshops and at the drop in tables. The new activities kicked off today at very reasonable prices, you may want to do more than one...!

New Activities July School Holidays

We have new activities just for the School Holidays so get in quick or you'll miss out! We will have some different ones for you next week as well.

Birthday Parties

Just to let you know more about our fabulous parties. We now have bookings through to December so if you have a date in mind call us and at least pencil your time in so you don't miss out!


We have many activities available and can even customize a party for you if you have something special in mind. There are new activities coming shortly for the school holidays and we will let you know as soon as they are available. We like the party person to choose the activity and it costs $25 per child plus a one off $35 room hire fee. The Ponsonby and Takapuna Stores take parties for up to 10 children and Remuera can take up to 30 children. You are welcome to bring party food and a cake if you wish and we have lovely staff to look after them on the day and they will box up their creations to take home with them.


Parties generally take about an hour and a half but sometimes they run to two hours and that is fine with us, we don't want to rush any junior artists. The parties are lots of fun for everyone!

Seedling Store Free Activities

Winter is definitely upon us and if the walls are starting to close in on you, come on down to your nearest Seedling Store and make something fabulous. We now have a free daily activity changing every week in all three stores. This weeks activity is Make a City Stamp Picture and you can create your own cityscape using our stamps and coloured pencils! We had fun doing one and we know the children will enjoy it too...and did I mention, it's free!

We have some fabulous new things arriving in the stores on a daily basis, make sure you come in have a look!

School Holiday Workshops

We are holding three hour workshops at our Remuera Store during the holidays! Get in quickly, they are booking up and we only have 12 places per class!

Bake and Decorate Cupcakes


- Mix up your cupcakes, bake them, then learn some clever different ways to decorate them before taking them home to eat, yum! Ages 6+


Design and Create your own Marionette Puppet


- We will take you step by step through making a working puppet. Will you make a clown, a pirate or maybe an animal, you decide! Ages 6+


Create your own Designer Dolly


Start with a plain dolly and design her face, hair and clothing. What or who will your dolly look like? Ages 6+
